Raleigh, N.C. – With a lot more than 41 million Americans and a
billion people around the world having some form of disability, the difficulties of navigating
a new destination can be so daunting, they choose not to travel.
For
that reason, go to Raleigh and the higher Raleigh sports alliance (GRSA) recently
held All Camiseta Santos Laguna access Wake County, the first accessibility awareness and training
summit for restaurants, hotels, attractions, merchants and event venues
throughout Wake County.
More
than 150 hospitality market workers took part in the summit at the
Raleigh Convention Center.
All
Access Wake county was kicked off with an opening keynote presentation by Justin Skeesuck and Patrick Gray, Camiseta AS Roma authors of
the book I’ll push You, and subjects
of the documentary by the exact same title chronicling their journey to become the
first to complete the 500-mile Camino de Santiago pilgrimage path in Spain by
wheelchair.
The
summit was also the kickoff for a larger initiative, which includes a new
accessibility resource portal at VisitRaleigh.com/allaccess. This training
resource encourages hospitality partners to supply remarkable customer
service for people with disabilities.

Visit Raleigh and the GRSA also implemented a digital accessibility option called AudioEye on their websites, VisitRaleigh.com and RaleighSports.org.
AudioEye is a leading web accessibility company with innovation for sustainable compliance with ADA-related requirements.
“We produced ‘All access Wake County’ to train, furnish and inspire all Wake county hospitality partners to go above and beyond just being ADA compliant,” stated Dennis Edwards, president and CEO of the higher Raleigh Camiseta Cruz Azul Convention and visitors Bureau.
“The hospitality market here in Raleigh, N.C., lives by the slogan ‘All Are Welcome.’”
